OZF는 OFF ZINE FESTIVAL의 약자로, 서울의 세 곳 독립서점 가가77페이지, 새벽감성1집, 올오어낫싱이 함께 꾸리는 프로젝트입니다.
OZF는 한국 유일의 ZINE 판매를 위한 페스티벌이자 독립출판과 아트북마켓, ZINE을 모으는 페스티벌이지만, ZINE은 독립출판의 원형입니다. 독립출판은 돈이 있을 때마다 만들어내던 간행물 형태로 시작되었습니다. 아티스트 정체성을 가장 많이 반영하고 독창적인 것이 바로 ZINE입니다. 그 ZINE을 한자리에 모아 이 시대의 문화를 대변하려고 합니다.
OZFは、ソウルの3つの独立書店「gaga77page」「dawnsense_1.zip」「All or Nothing」が共同で展開するプロジェクトです。
OFF ZINE FESTIVALの略で、韓国唯一のZINEの販売と祝祭の場であり、独立出版とアートブックのマーケットでもあります。ZINEを集めるフェスティバルですが、ZINEこそが独立出版の原点です。独立出版は、資金があるときに自主的に作られていた刊行物から始まりました。ZINEはアーティストの個性と創造性を最も反映する媒体です。それらを一堂に集め、この時代の文化を表現しようとしています。
OZF is a collaborative project by three independent bookstores in Seoul — Gaga77page, dawnsense_1.zip, and All or Nothing.
It stands for OFF ZINE FESTIVAL, Korea’s only festival dedicated to the sale and celebration of zines — a market for independent publishing and art books. While OZF gathers zines, zines themselves are the original form of independent publishing. Independent publishing began as self-funded publications made whenever possible. Zines are the most direct and creative expression of an artist’s identity. By bringing them together in one place, we aim to represent the spirit of our cultural moment.
OZF est un projet commun de trois librairies indépendantes de Séoul : Gaga77page, dawnsense_1.zip et All or Nothing.
Il signifie OFF ZINE FESTIVAL, le seul festival en Corée dédié à la vente de zines — un marché de l’édition indépendante et des livres d'art. Bien que le festival rassemble des zines, le zine est en lui-même la forme originelle de l’édition indépendante. Celle-ci est née de publications auto-financées, créées quand les moyens le permettaient. Le zine est l’expression la plus brute, personnelle et créative de l’identité d’un artiste. En les réunissant, nous cherchons à refléter la culture de notre époque.
